I'm back!

I had an amazing summer camping in Tahoe but now I've returned to lovely civilization with a California tan, legs of steel, and lots of tree data. 

I'm spending a few days in Michigan at Ben's mom's new house with two psycho kittens, but I am super excited to share some pictures and stories and catch up on life!

I hope you had a beautiful summer too.

I can't believe it's almost back to school time again. aaa!

Tomorrow morning I will be headed out to California side of Lake Tahoe to spend the summer camping and collecting field data for my thesis.

I'll be taking a blogging break until I get back in late July.

I'm sure I will have lots of gorgeous pictures to share then :)

Yesterday Ellie and I went to Forest Park Nature Center to hike around and break in my new boots.

We grew up in a forest sort of like this but with older trees, and spent our childhood summers exploring the woods and creating all sorts of imaginary worlds and quests.

I love trees.
